It’s the last bank holiday before summer begins and potentially your last opportunity to spend some time in the garden getting it summer-ready. We’re hoping for good weather, so make the most of your long weekend and give your garden a bit of TLC.

Could your timber fencing do with an upgrade?

Worn or damaged timber fencing can make your garden look timber fencing and landscaping timbersscruffy and tired. Whether you need to replace the whole thing, individual panels or just give it a bit of attention – it’s an easy way to make your garden look immediately more welcoming.

Getting some new timber fencing is a quick win that can change the whole look of your garden. We love our continental panels, they come with arched, v and squared tops and offer something a bit softer and more stylish than traditional fencing.

To give your existing fencing a facelift you can coloured fence treatment.

Adding some lattice or trellis panels will help you to elevate your garden with a stunning feature. Planting climbers at the base of trellises and lattice panels allows you to start thinking about your garden as more than a flat landscape. You can have stunning flowers blooming all over your garden.

Use landscaping timber to embellish your garden

Landscaping a garden is about much more than areas of grass, patios and borders. You can add feature elements to take your garden to new levels. Landscaping timbers are our favourite way to do so; sleepers make great borders and edging, as well as retaining walls, terraces and steps. The chunky timber is hugely effective when creating a more rustic and natural style landscape.

If you’re thinking of going for a more aged style, then you can use reclaimed railway sleepers – they’ll add plenty of character to your garden.
