Our LP SolidStart I-Joists offer a great alternative to using traditional, solid timber joists. I-Joists are lighter to handle (about 60% lighter than traditional joists), quicker to install and will provide a stiffer, more stable floor. It is also easier to run services through I-Joists - much larger holes can be cut than with solid joists. The holes can be cut very quickly and easily through the web of the I-Joist, they also come with pre-stamped 38mm holes for smaller services such as electrical cables. ..
